I grew up in H-town. Its a good place to live. Plenty of stuff to do and great restaurants abound. I recommend living on the Northwest side though. Like out in the Cypress area off 290. Its a little out of town, but you have everything you need there.

It's a great place to raise a family, as there are plenty of activities, educational opportunities, parks, etc.
