A trip to Frank's Chop House is an experience in the real taste of Houston. These local ingredients are a great addition to an already great selection of entrees, appetizers and desserts. To start things off, try their delicious pan-seared scallops, or their summer vegetable souffle, a unique take on an old dish that showcases all of the great local vegetables of the region. Next, for salad, you can choose from a warn spinach salad, an endive salad, a beef tenderloin salad, or many other great options. Next up is what makes this place famous: the steaks. There are plenty of different cuts and sizes to choose from, from sirloins, to rib-eyes, to a filet. Also, try their double-cut 16 oz. pork chops, made with real local pork, or the local flavor of grilled rosemary lamb chops. If you're more in the mood for seafood, Frank's is ready with fresh fish and shrimp right out of the gulf coast. In addition to the food, Frank's Chop House has a huge wine list, with wines from all over the world. Whether you're in the mood for a carbernet, a merlot, a pinot, or even a glass of champagne, Frank's has you covered. They also have a special place on their list for what they call their "interesting whites" and "interesting reds", presenting interesting and unique flavors that you can't find in many other locations.
