Sometimes you just need to treat yourself, and few things satisfy as heartily as a thick, juicy steak. So the next time you spend an afternoon cleaning your apartment from head to toe (yeah, even that closet of yours), reward yourself with a trip to Perry's. Award-winning is the name of the game at Perry's, and from the vaulted ceilings to the high-end tableware, it becomes apparent quickly as to why the establishment has been so raved over. All of the signature steaks are dry-aged on-site for a minimum of four weeks, dashed with garlic butter and char-grilled to your specifications, and Perry's wine locker is enough to make even the snobbiest of French grape fans tear up a little bit. Wednesday and Thursday evenings are their lauded 'Social Hours', where the adventurous are encouraged to sample wines from across the globe at a discounted rate, with a selection of delectable appetizers (escargot, cherry pepper calamari) on hand. Live music is also a staple on the weekends, although, this being a classy joint, the tunes tend to lean more towards piano jazz than denim rock. And while the steaks are the obvious main draw, the eatery's Sunday brunch is a popular affair due to the four cheese omelets, Creole benedicts and seafood frittata's. Heck, why make yourself choose? Hit both dinner and brunch. After all, you've earned it.
