You can't help but expect the best cuisine when you find yourself combing the sands in Laguna Beach. After spending the day experiencing the beautiful waters and landscape, you want to re-fuel with a meal that is equally pleasing. After a quick trip back to freshen up at the ol' apartment, you can head over to a restaurant called Five Feet that will amaze you with the quality of food that is available. Chef Michael Kang has taken pride in his non-traditional combination of French and Chinese cuisine since its arrival in 1985. You can enjoy a variety of options with its signature dish being Crispy Mississippi Delta Pride Farm Catfish with mildly spicy tomato citrus ginger sauce. If that doesn't make your mouth water at the sound of it then you need to have the taste portion of your brain checked. You can please you taste buds with reasonably priced foods for a nice dinner with your sweetheart. Opening daily at 5 p.m., you can get an early dinner before a night out on the town, or wind down with a delicious meal and a glass of wine after a long day on the beach. No matter how you slice it, Five Feet stands much taller among the dining establishments anywhere in the area.
