Write a ReviewLas Vegas has become famous for its fabulous shows, but for apartment-ites seeking a night of honest, down-to-earth theaters, free of showgirls and pyrotechnics, you have fewer options available. One place that has been serving up some of the best theater in the Las Vegas area for over thirty years it the Las Vegas Little Theater, a small community theater dedicated to bringing forth classic theatrical works for the Las Vegas citizens. If dancers and stage strutting are not quite your thing, then try out this community organization, the little theater with the big heart. Over the years, the Las Vegas Little Theater has put on some of the most well-known works of theater in the world, including A Streetcar Named Desire, Purple Hearts and The Woolgatherer. Over this time, they have drawn the attention of several Las Vegas residents, and received glowing criticism from all around Nevada. They may not have the flash and dazzle of other productions companies in town, but they more than make up for it with quality and hard work. The theater is made up of two different stages: the main stage, on which bigger productions, as well as touring shows, perform, and the black box more fitting for experimental and fringe pieces. Both of the stages feature fantastic acoustics and excellent technology, making each show something sure to amaze and enlighten viewers. There's no dearth of theater in Las Vegas, but apartment-ites seeking real, classic theater in the city of sin, free of all the flash and bang of the main stage shows, should go with one theater putting on fantastic theater for over a quarter of a century, and only gets better every year, the Las Vegas Little Theater.
