With many locations perfect for partaking of this beauty, if you want a top-scale menu while also enjoying a mile-high view of the P-town, then make sure to head over to the Pointe Hilton and take the elevator up to the Different Pointe of View. Different Pointe of View offers one of the most amazing eating experiences you're likely to have in the city, dining above the hustle and bustle of the city, while enjoying food by some of the greatest chefs in town. Their modern design, along with their lighted floors and wide windows are perfect for those spectacular city views that you just can't find anywhere else. Of course, the view is what keeps people coming, but what makes them stay is the excellence dinner menu. Different Pointe of View features the best chefs in town making dishes from only the freshest of ingredients, with herbs and vegetables straight from the mountainside gardens. To start things off, you can choose from their cherry wood-smoked venison carpaccio, with bing cherry tarragon compote, maple-scented sabayon, covered in vanilla anise oil, Lobster Bisque, with porcini mushroom infusion, Prince Edward Island steamed mussels, in a fennel and saffron honey broth, served with roasted hearb focaccia crostini, or pan-seared dive scallops with roasted sweet corn quinoa gateau, sweet pea gazpacho and tomato essence. Main courses run the gamut, so whether it's fish you're after, or a nice steak, or some fresh poultry, you'll be well taken care of. Some of their delicious options include butter-poached Main lobster and pancetta-wrapped prawns, served with a herb-Parmesan risotto torte,, and a white corn beurre blanc, prime Cedar River rib eye in a sweet carchello monastrell tarragon demi glace, with piquillo pepper Dauphinoise potatoes, sauteed abalone mushrooms, apple wood-smoked loupe de mer in a piquant apricot emulsion, with leek pesto gnocchi and roasted baby eggplant, or pan-seared muscovy duck breast. Nothing washes down a delicious, upscale meal quite like a fine glass of wine, and with Different Pointe of View's star sommelier, you're not likely to go without a delicious glass for long. A 30-page wine list gives you all of your different choices, so you'll be glad to have a sommelier on hand to help you make sense of it all, and with so many options, they have a taste for just about everyone, where you're a red man, a fan of whites, or enjoy a nice champagne. It's the perfect end to a perfect night at this amazing eatery.
