The Rainier Beach Lightrail station is approximately a 15-minute walk from the house, as well as several bus lines available within a block of the house. Our private, 1-acre forest has a creek that runs through it. There is nothing like sitting on the porch eating breakfast, listening to the water and the birds, and watching the squirrels play as the sun shines through the trees. We have a small garden going, too. We have geese, chickens, and ducks that are very entertaining. There is a larger forest with a larger river and great trails that is only about 7 blocks from the house which is perfect for running or hiking.
