There are 2 free parking spaces clearly marked with yellow/black parking spaces behind the house. Bring your fishing gear for good fishing in the Bay. Fox Lake is known as the Heart of the Chain O’ Lakes, a favorite spot for boating, fishing, and making memories on the water. With 15 connected lakes and 45 miles of rivers, there’s always a new place to explore. Fox Lake is located in Lake County, IL, a vibrant county nestled along 25 miles of shoreline of Lake Michigan on its eastern border and the state of Wisconsin along its northern border. Lake County offers a sanctuary for nature enthusiasts, with nearly 31,000 acres to explore in 65 different forests preserves. There are 170 lakes in the County in whole, thus the name "Lake County". This is a golfer's paradise with 46 golf courses to enjoy. Lake County is a happening place with theme parks, water parks, a 2-mile long mall, dozens of historic downtown areas, and so much more. This is in the heart of Fox Lake and a long walk from the Fox Lake downtown area, but definitely a 2-minute drive to the stores, movies, restaurants, etc. No pets are allowed on this property. No smoking or vaping indoors or in the hot tub; smoking is allowed outside in the back yard only. No illegal drugs on the property. Garbage day is on Wednesdays. If you are staying overnight on a Tuesday, please take the garbage and recycle cans out to the end of the road for the Wednesday morning garbage truck. The driveway is smaller and can hold 2 full-size cars MAX, or 1 larger truck or SUV tightly. The entrance road is an old, tight road. Be careful pulling in and out of the driveway. Pull in and out very slowly. If at all possible, have other guests help you back out. The hot tub is subject to January/February winter closures if freezing air temperatures or icing occurs.
