This suite is conveniently situated at the top of the high street, offering easy access to restaurants, cafes, and local shops. This cozy downtown suite features exposed brick walls and air conditioning. The open-plan living area includes a comfortable lounge with plenty of seating, a large smart TV, and a gas stove for heating. The fully equipped kitchen boasts apartment-sized appliances, small appliances, and an island with seating for two. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower, and hotel-quality towels, locally made hand soap, and body wash/shampoo are provided. A queen bed with side tables and a wardrobe are located behind a dividing wall, complete with blackout blinds. Parking is available right outside the suite. A communal laundry room is available for guest use. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains of southeastern British Columbia, Canada, Fernie is known for its picturesque landscapes and charming community. The historic downtown area, with its preserved heritage buildings, is home to boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, and art galleries. Fernie is renowned for its world-class ski resort, Fernie Alpine Resort, and offers abundant outdoor recreational activities year-round, including hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, and river rafting. The nearby Elk River is famous for its fly fishing opportunities. Please expect some local noise throughout the day and into the evenings, especially during peak season when bars are more active. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the unit, property, or on decks, balconies, or courtyards. No pets or parties are allowed. Sports equipment should not be brought inside the suite; use the provided storage area. Fines and/or eviction may occur for broken building rules. If you are staying for work, do not track mud, coal, or any work-related mess into the building or unit, and do not bring work materials or supplies into either. A minimum of $50/hr will be charged if flooring is coal/dirt stained and requires treatment, including communal areas. Laundering of ‘coal’ work clothes is not allowed in the unit’s washing or drying machines. There will be a minimum surcharge of $150 per bedroom if the laundry is stained beyond recovery and/or the unit is found excessively dirty. Dark laundry sets are available to help prevent staining; notify us when booking if dark laundry is required. Late requests for dark laundry may incur a change-over fee. A fine of up to $1000 will be issued, and you could be asked to vacate if any of the house rules are not obeyed. Quiet time is from 11 pm - 7 am unless otherwise stated. Furniture must not be rearranged or moved near fireplaces. Be respectful of our other guests with noise levels. Includes a smart TV and plenty of storage.
