Feel at home in this mountain retreat that offers the perfect blend of privacy and comfort for a true year-round escape. Stone Ledge was thoughtfully designed to celebrate its mountain setting. The main living area is open concept, combining the kitchen, dining area, living room, and TV space. Sliding doors lead to the back deck with a barbecue grill and outdoor dining, as well as to the expansive front porch, perfect for relaxing and taking in the views. The home incorporates passive solar design for year-round comfort. At the heart of the design are the signature stone ledge walls, blending layered stone with wood siding to reflect the surrounding Catskills landscape. The property invites exploration through wooded trails, stone walls, and fern-filled paths. Enjoy an open floor plan, gourmet kitchen, cozy fireplace, four decks, and a fire pit for evenings under the stars. Pets are considered with an additional fee of $200 per dog per stay, one dog maximum. Located near Plattekill Mountain, Belleayre Ski Center, wedding venues, and outdoor adventures, this home is surrounded by peaceful natural beauty. Seasonal wild blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries grow throughout the land, while late summer and early fall bring apples and crab apples in the front yard (shared with the local deer). Distances to popular spots: Plattekill Ski Center (9 miles), Belleayre Ski Center (17 miles), Stone Tavern Farm (9 miles), The Inn at West Settlement (11 miles), Roxbury Barn (8.2 miles), Maple Shade Farm (17 miles), Cooperstown Dreams Park (42 miles), Hunter Mountain (39 miles), and Windham Mountain (34 miles). A vehicle is needed to enjoy the countryside, as there is no or limited Uber or cab service in the area. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. No parties are allowed, and only the number of guests on the reservation should be in the house. If you must smoke, do so outdoors only and extinguish when done then put in the garbage. There will be a $500 fine for evidence of smoking inside the home. Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM, so keep outdoor noise to a minimum.
