NON SMOKING/VAPING NO DRUG USAGE PERIOD. To ensure a smooth application process, all interested applicants are required to complete a rental application, which will include credit and background checks to support a successful rental experience for you. 2 bedroom, 1 bath just a bit under 900 square foot unit. 2nd floor stairs, non ADA apartment with secured exterior key entry locks for tenants only to gain access for rent in the residential area of Ashland, Wisconsin, just blocks west from the historic downtown. This is a residential only lease as stated clearly on the lease documents as no businesses activities may be conducted in the unit or on any of the properties at any time. This building adheres to the very strict city of Ashland nightly rules seven days a week as quiet times shall be from ten p m until eight am daily, 7 days a week, clearly marked on the building. No exceptions...... Water and sewer and forced air furnace heat set at 68F is included into each unit. Tenants only pay for their own separately metered by the utility company for electricity use for their personal unit and their personal water heater.. Each unit has a building owner supplied garbage container along with a recycling container that the tenant has place on the curb and putting it back to its approved storage area. No smoking/vaping allowed. No drugs or illegal activities allowed, and NO cats or dogs or pets allowed. This 1904 historic apartment building just went under a very costly intensive massive refurbishment with the freshly done 2nd floor unit complete paint job from floor to base to walls to trim to windows and doors and ceiling and throughout the entire inside of this wonderful unit. The hardwood floors have been refurbished, and painted a neutral brown color highlighting the period of yesteryear and it has a full bathroom with a nice sized kitchen for you with a newer electric stove top and double oven along with a nice refrigerator freezer combination that is less than one year old. The bedrooms do have nice closets in them for you to hang and place your clothing along with personal item storage in the unit. Coin-operated washers and dryers may become available in the basement in the near future as the upgrades and further restoration projects of this iconic building continues forward and with an exterior door that will take you down to them with plenty of tables there to fold laundry on, or to set your storage items on prior to securing them in the individual approved storage unit areas. These security lockers are available, one per unit maximum at an additional cost per month on a non residential different lease down in the basement for your extra storage needs. No personal items can ever remain outside of the lockers should you choose to lease one. Mail delivery is just inside the front door in a mail secured postal bank with separate keys for each unit. There is a vacant lot across the street monitored by the police department which provides for off street winter parking for up to four tenant current licensed operational vehicles and is for tenants only during the winter. No exceptions. No one is allowed to park on the lawn by the unit or on the grass on the lot across the street at any time of the year, clearly stated in the lease agreement. A one year lease is required with the exception of all leases end june thirtieth of each year. First month's rent, along with last month's rent and a security deposit on this beautiful clean interior sparkling jewel, along with credit references and a driver's license and or current valid ID which will be on the application form prior to a lease agreement and that will be required first for approval. 990.00 per month rent. The building is scheduled for a new fresh exterior cheery candy apple red siding and bright white trim exterior paint job on the entire exterior this year as the owners have selections typical of a bygone era of historic Ashland along with building mock ups of the exterior of the siding and trim paint to brightening this historic lady up with vibrant showcasing era. There is an on site fantastic building manager in a unit monitoring the building with a rapid response and regular office hours posted on his door for your safety, security, and wellbeing. Building welfare checks of each unit interior are done at intervals not to exceed sixty days with 12/24 hrs notice per state statutes. Only individuals that can get along with existing peaceful tenants along with keeping the inside and along with the outside, clean, neat and tidy at all times would be qualified for acceptance into this peaceful building. Maximum capacity clearly stated on the lease agreement. Occupancy Standards: Reasonable maximums based on health/safety codes, generally following the "2-per-bedroom" rule in the apartment building. There is a four person maximum allowed due to the space and expenses paid by the landlords figured into the cost of the building operations in the monthly lease payments.
