Sunlit and spacious, the heart of the home is a well-equipped kitchen with an oversized island overlooking a large pool and landscaped grounds. Sandpoint offers a serene 20x40 gunite pool, making it an unparalleled tranquil retreat on Shelter Island. The heated pool will be guest ready starting May 19, 2025. The home is thoughtfully designed with professionally curated furnishings and access to premium amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and includes a Nespresso coffee maker. Relax with luxury linens, premium Malin & Goetz bath products, and a smart TV with Roku for entertainment. If you would like the pool heated during your stay, there is an additional fee of $75, which covers 8 hours of pool heating scheduled during the daytime. Family-friendly amenities such as a Pack ’n Play, baby gate, and high chair are available upon request for an additional fee. Nestled between the North and South Forks, Shelter Island is a tiny island accessed only by ferry from either Greenport on the North Fork or North Haven on the South Fork. Known for its natural beauty, hiking, biking, bird-watching, and some of the most breathtaking kayaking in Suffolk County, the entire island is approximately 27 square miles. Playing loud music is not allowed at this property. Guests are asked to keep backyard noise to a minimum, especially if traveling with children, to ensure a respectful environment for neighbors. The entire property, including the main house, guest house, and pool house, is exclusively accessible to guests. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, in the home or in the outside areas of the home. Smoking will result in an odor removal fee of no less than $500 and up to $1,000 as well as possible removal from the property. Work from home with ease thanks to high-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace with an ergonomic chair. A laptop computer is not included.
