Also newly added to the park is eight miles of cross country mountain bike trails. And for the swimming Scranton apartment residents, there's a beautiful bath house to hang out in on a lovely sandy beach, picnic areas and certified lifeguards to protect even the youngest residents of Merli-Sarnoski Park apartments. A few specific directions for the park include that only electric motor boats are allowed on the boat launch, and overnight camping is only provided for non-profit organizations. Swimming is allowed the third week in June through Labor Day only. Precautions must also be taken during ice fishing season. People who live in Scranton apartments can also bring their basketball, soccer ball or softball to play on the open playing fields here.
