Finding the right St. Louis neighborhood to rent near your workplace means balancing convenience, lifestyle, budget, and "nice-to-haves." Our team looks for the best mix of livability and affordability, based on firsthand local insight. I’m Taryn, your ApartmentHomeLiving.com Local Expert for St. Louis (as well as a local!), and I’ve rounded up the city's top neighborhoods to rent near its biggest employers. Each one offers its own unique character, housing options, and amenities to make your workday commute a little easier and more pleasant.

As a neighborhood, Forest Park offers a mix of mid-rise apartment buildings, historic homes, and modern condos, many within walking distance of both the park and BJC. Despite its central location and abundance of popular attractions, the area feels residential and relaxed, especially along quieter side streets.
