Where are the nearby vacation spots?

The Children’s Discovery Museum in Uptown Normal is a popular draw for local as well as those visiting. It offers classes, exhibits, and programs, and it was also rated the best children’s experience in Illinois by Media World. Of course, your next stop could be the Illinois State University Planetarium, which is always a great other-worldly experience. But you also don’t have to be stuck indoors. Normal, IL has 24 parks, trails, and facilities. So, whether you enjoy getting outside, learning, or taking action—with the Ecology Action Center—you’ll find a vacationing experience while feeling right at home.
