The supporting staff (maintenance, housekeeping, concierge) are great. I enjoy having safe parking. Though there are often issues with the gates to the parking garage. Overall I’ve been very happy here. Since the management changed recently the tone of communications to residents often feels like scolding. I’ve also experienced several missed opportunities for customer service recovery just in ...the past 3 months from the leasing office staff. This has been disappointing considering the expense of living here. I think “improvements” that residents didn’t ask for should be secondary to providing exceptional customer service and it’s frustrating feeling like your concerns aren’t taken seriously. No pest issues, no safety concerns even though everyone knows Little Tokyo neighborhood itself can be sketchy in some areas. One thing that occasionally can be bothersome is the fire alarm have gone off a few times since our move in, but it’s not the fault of the office management but annoying people who messed with the alarm. The maintenance team is friendly and top notch. My neighbors are great. My main complaint would be being talked over and interrupted over a recent dispute in the leasing office and the lack of responsiveness/communication about the action taken afterwards. Also, there are periods of time when the parking barrier causes issues. Parking is shared with a public lot, so it may get ...backed up when customers aren't able to make payment. Other times, it malfunctions. If the parking attendant or apartment security isn't around, you could be stuck for quite a while and sometimes, you'll have to have your parking fob reprogrammed at the leasing office to work after a parking barrier malfunction.Read MoreProperty Manager Responded
