The weather in Antioch, TN is classified as humid subtropical, giving Antioch warm, humid summers and mild winters. There is year-round rainfall with the possibility of snow during the winter. Antioch has about 77 sunny days per year.

How do I get around town?

Getting around Antioch is best done by car, although Nashville does have bus service that covers the area. While it is possible, it's not a location that's very well-suited to getting around without a car. The bus service is not very extensive, and with the Southern heat and generous rainfall, going by bicycle or on foot would be uncomfortable during the warmest months. There is an express bus service to Nashville.

What is the Antioch commute like?

Antioch is about 11 miles from downtown Nashville. Take Interstate-24 to get to Nashville from Antioch, the trip takes about 18 minutes, although it is likely to be longer than that during rush hour.

Antioch gets Nashville radio and TV stations. On the radio you'll find 102.9 The Buzz and Power Country 103. TV stations include WTVF and WSMV-TV. The main newspaper for Antioch is the Tennessean.

In Antioch, you can visit the Cane Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church for a historical side trip. The church was built in 1859 and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
