Located inside one of the island’s most vibrant spots, this apartment is perfect for those seeking energy and fun. During restaurant hours, it's a lively location, but once the doors close, it transforms into a peaceful retreat with salty air and the beach just outside. The area is primarily car-friendly, but guests can also access local public transportation through EC Rider, Fort Walton Beach’s bus service. Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are readily available for convenient travel around the area, including to nearby beaches, restaurants, and attractions. Bike rentals and local shuttle services are also popular options for exploring the area. This is a lively location while the restaurant is open, so it’s best for guests who want energy and fun, not early quiet hours. Guests are expected to respect all house rules, check-in and check-out times, and the peaceful enjoyment of the property. No parties, events, or unauthorized guests are allowed. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and neighbors. Feel at home in this romantic micro studio, a unique retreat located on the same level as the bustling Beachview Restaurant, in the heart of island life. Inside, the queen sofa bed is already made with a plush memory foam topper. A kitchenette makes it easy to whip up something light, and the modern walk-in shower is perfect after a long beach day. You'll also find a smart TV and modern finishes throughout. The condo is equipped with a starter kit of basic supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap. If you need extra blankets or pillows, please let us know before 5 PM. There is an extra linen fee of $40 as we do not stock extra linens for the sleeper sofa, but we will happily drop off linens if given notice. Okaloosa Island is a lovely beach community surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico to the south and Choctawhatchee Bay to the north, offering breathtaking views and a wide variety of outdoor activities. The nearest public beach access is just steps away at Okaloosa Island Beach Access Five - Doris Jordan Freeway Beachwalk. There are also plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops in the area, as well as attractions like the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park, Wild Willy's Adventure Zone, and the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island. The most convenient way to get around the local area is by car, and there is unassigned parking available in the parking lot. Guests can also take advantage of ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft or rent bicycles to explore the island. Additionally, there is a local bus service that runs along the island and connects to other nearby destinations. For guests arriving by plane, the nearest airport is the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS), which is approximately 12 miles away from the Islander. This spot is in the heart of the action and can be lively while the restaurant is open. There is a strict no smoking policy inside the condo or on the balcony. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests and neighbors. Guests must be over 22 to book and stay on the property. The unit is not childproofed in any way. The heating and cooling system runs off a boiler system. When the weather outside is below 68 degrees, the heat will automatically turn on whether it's on cool or heat. If you'd like hot air to stop blowing, simply turn the system off and open the balcony door to cool the space. To maintain the quality and cleanliness of our linens & Towels, we kindly ask guests to avoid using them for any items that may cause stains or discoloration, such as makeup, hair dye, tanning products, or coloring sticks. When this happens, the linens must be disposed of and replaced, which comes at an additional cost.
