Excellent Living!
March 18, 2021Camden Hunters Creek is professionally maintained, friendly staff & we couldn't be more happy to call this place home. The maintenance here is unbelievably fast. This review is just on that. I've never lived anywhere that the maintenance is here multiple times in under 1 day to come fix whatever the problem is. We have owned homes in the past and Camden Hunters Creek makes it hard to want to buy another one. Thank you again for making life a life a little easier in the days we live in.Property Manager Responded

My Experience
July 13, 2018I moved here with high hopes because of good reviews and the location but I had a different experience. The apartment was gross when I moved in so of course I had to let them know. Right then and there everything goes south. The office clearly talked about me in a negative manner behind my back (tell me how the manager repeated to me anything I'd say to the leasing agents all while twisting it into something negative.) I had two experiences where I was treated so rudely it's unbelievable. ...Maintenance says they'll come that day and they don't. Sad that I had to call a corporate call center to have them come for several requests after several days. Still waiting on a new fridge after 2 weeks of having the service requests closed after they didn't really fix it. I have a carpet that's past it's life expectancy because "several professionals walked my apartment and said the carpet was still in good condition." Would you want to pay rent for a 5 year old carpet that has zero life left in it yet and is hard on your feet? Hairs stuck in it at every corner and paint spots in random spots? I guess the professionals who walked my apartment missed the hair, dust, corroded tub, cracked closet wall, broken incinerator and the list goes on of things that were broken at move in. The manager was more intent on me moving out after my first 2 weeks here, how about owning up to the issues and fixing them as quick as possible? Why did I have to wait for 4 days for my first service request to he completed as a new resident with a long list of problems? Movings hard enough. The amenities of the clubhouse are seriously lacking. Doors to clubhouse from pool and fitness center are locked at random times and you can't even get a cup of coffee without having to go into the staffs office. I lived at another Camden previously where the they had a coffee bar set up in the clubhouse near the resident seating area, not inside their leasing office. There's no business center and the "cloud printing" they advertise doesn't work. I write this review after 2 months of residency and giving several opportunities for things to be made right and only running into more disappointments. Hunters Creek is lovely, and the residents here are lovely. But being consistent with good customer service would also be lovely. Thank you.Property Manager Responded
September 19, 2018Hello, I appreciate you speaking with me today and I thank you for taking the time to voice your frustrations. We firmly believe that all feedback that we receive makes us better. I am very sorry that you have had such a negative experience in the short time you have called us home. And I apologize for the amount of service requests you needed to have completed so that your home was exactly how you wanted it. This is not how we want any of our residents to begin their stay with us… again I apologize for this experience. Regarding carpet, we replace when necessary. When someone moves out of their home our Maintenance Supervisor walks then apartment and immediately inspects the carpet. They then determine if we need to have it replaced or if the carpet is still in good condition. In this case the Maintenance Supervisor determined the carpet was still in good condition and then called out our professional carpet cleaners. From time to time our professional cleaners have come back and ...explained that they could not save a carpet. In these rare instances we have changed our plan from cleaning to replacing. When someone speaks about the “life expectancy” of an asset, in this case the carpet, that doesn’t mean that it is automatically replaced if it has surpassed that date. What it does mean is that no charge will be passed on to someone if the life expectancy has passed and the asset needs to be replaced. A lot of times our assets (carpet, hot water heaters, refrigerators, ect.) exceed their life expectancy because they are well cared for. This is the case with your carpet. I am sorry you are unhappy with the carpet. I am more than happy to come by to look at your carpet and have you point out to me what you are referring to. Being that our community is going on 20 years we do tend to have a lot of service requests. My apologies if we were unable to get to you sooner than later. We have recently changed our maintenance schedule so that one of your maintenance technicians are on property from 8am to 5pm every day. We are confident that this change will positively impact you and your neighbors. We truly do care about your happiness here with us and do everything we can to turn your experience around. One of the things we do to make the lives our of residents easier is by communicating with one another, the staff, regarding our residents and any feedback they have given us or frustrations they have shared with us. We do this so that our residents don’t have to re-explain anything or feel that we are not a fully functioning team. It is never our intention for anyone to feel that we are speaking negatively of them as that is never the case. As for the doors going out onto the pool deck from the back of our office, I hope you can understand this is truly for the safety of residents. Often residents and their guests were coming in from being in the pool and very quickly walking to the restrooms causing a slip hazard. As

Questionable But Nice
April 20, 2018This particular Camden has lost the Customer Service aspect. When I originally was looking Nancy was here and she was truly amazing. She understood the customer. I would say something about a problem and she would get right on it and fix the problem and communicate back that it was taken care of. Problem is she left. Now its Naomi. Who is a sweet lady but anyone who will stare you in the face and lie to you has some problems. I rather you be 100% honest with me. If you don't know say you don't ...know. If your waiting for someone higher up to communicate back to you say that. Cheryl who THANK GOD IS GONE was just awful. Swore she always drove around the complex in the morning before she started working. I guess that is why she missed a dog park fence that had a giant hole in it for almost 3 months! Not to mention the people who keep letting there family and friends in the gate so they can take up parking from people who actually pay rent! Then when you say something the only thing that is done is someone telling you that and I quote from the resident portal page "they can stay for two weeks" so when they leave for a day and come back the next day and have their entire family staying upstairs running around making noise and you make 3 noise complaints and nothing is still done about it. It's your fault for complaining! Nothing can be done now. OH WELL don't forget today is the first and pay your rent. The complex has great potential to go back to what it was when I signed my lease but they need a property manager who isn't going to be buddy buddy with them. DO YOUR JOB! If your leasing consultants are not being production do something about it. Teach them that it isn't okay to lie to a resident teach your maintenance men that if they are on their phone don't drive the golf carts while looking down. (I have recorded video of them almost hitting me while playing on their phone and driving the carts, lots of it.) Teach them if they complete a job tell the resident hey i'm done and everything is okay or I need to do some further work. Instead of just leaving us high and dry wondering and having to bug the office to figure out what is going on. Professionalism needs to be taught and retained by your staff because it is seriously lacking! Only a couple more months and I'm out of here. So it's not a bad place to live just someone needs to pay closer attention to detail!! Actually CARE about your job! That is all I have ever asked since I have been here.Property Manager Responded
April 21, 2018Hello, Let me begin by saying how incredibly sorry I am that you feel this way towards your community that you call home. As your new Community Manager I am taking all of your feedback very seriously and would love an opportunity to make the remainder, and hopefully future, stay with us one you are happy to be apart of. I would like to extend an invitation for you and I to have an opportunity to speak so that I may be able to assist you from this point on. I firmly believe that it is our customer focused service that has you and your neighbors continuing to call us home. I can also understand that if you are feeling our customer service is sub par that you would be happy to no longer call us home. My hope is that you are willing to give me the opportunity to correct things. I would love to speak with you in person if possible. I can be reached at HuntersCreekManagers@CamdenLiving.com or by phone at 407.851.1122, it would truly be my pleasure to assist you. Kind regards, ...Erika.

Horrible place
December 10, 2016I recommend anyone to stay far from here...seriously...there are many better options than this dump. The only appealing building in terms of quality and looks is the main building. other than that Living conditions aren't great at all. Too much for this type of placeReview from Apartments.com

August 12, 2015Camden Hunters Creek is the best place to live, Apartments are huge neighborhood and schools are excellent. management is always wiling to help and very courteous, the apartments are so huge its like living in a house. Lived here 3 years and it has been great it really feels like your at home from the time you walk on to the property. The place is outstanding.. the location is 10 minutes from downtown Orlando and 10 minutes from Kissimmee you have the best of both worlds night life in Orlando and ...the day to day life from Kissimmee..Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
A Good First Apartment
July 31, 2015When I say "Good first apartment" I mean that it's not too luxurious but not a cardboard box on the side of the road. It's a perfect distance to either the airport or to Attractions like Walt Disney World. The pool area is very nice as well as the club house. Great area for the kids to play and also a dog park. When it comes to the breeze ways they aren't completely kept up and cleaned. Also Parking is terrible at the front buildings especially if you work late hours. Unfortunately the garages ...near building 9 has an almost live-in tenant that loves to party and play drums till at least 11pm and likes to leave broken beer bottles all over the grass and parking lot.( Management has yet to do anything about it). But like I said before a good learning experience to make sure the next apartment is better for you.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
