Deerfield Village is somewhat of a hidden gem. I had never seen or heard of it until I stumbled upon the complex one day. I knew then that I wanted to live here. The grounds are beautiful, staff is friendly and maintenance is timely. What’s not to love? Oh, and the pool is just the cherry on top. Highly recommend!
Lush scenery in Lubbock

Having lived in Austin area for years, I do miss the greenery. However, we stumbled upon this place and am truly astounded at the beautiful landscaping Joe and crew provide. Maintenance and ground staff always friendly. It's quiet and peaceful here. Rent is reasonable and apartments are pretty spacious.

I have really enjoyed living here at Deerfield! I moved here from Utah and fell in love with all the abundance of trees and bushes. Felt like back home. They have a great dog park, laundry facilities, and awesome pool! We also have internet in our apartment, great for work and school! Staff is always super friendly and helpful when I have ever needed them! Maintenance is always friendly and quick when they come fix anything. Office is great at keeping us informed about what’s happening around ...

I have been living here for almost a year now and if you love stepping in dog poop, then these are the apartments for you! It's absolutely everywhere and they do nothing about it. Also beware of the world's thinnest walls to hear all what your neighbors are doing, but it doesn't stop there. If you like random smells, I can only assume to be neighbors cooking something, to take over your whole apartment then they have that here too. Not to forget about the creepy people that watch you or ...

It was a decent apartment complex, but the parking was a complete nightmare!!!! They DESPERATELY need to have assigned parking!!!! If I managed to get a parking space near our apartment, I felt trapped because I knew that if I left, someone would get it.
I had to go to Grace Clinic one evening because I was extremely dizzy. Turned out I had vertigo. Of course, I lost my good parking space close to our apartment and I had to park really far away and walk back to our apartment while dealing with ...

The ladies in the office were alright. Maintenace was great!!! Our upstairs neighbor was amazing!!! She was very quiet and we REALLY miss her!!!! The only reason that we moved was so that we could have a reserved, covered parking space. I still don't understand why that place kept winning KCBD's Best of the West apartment complex for so many years!!!! Especially with the parking situation being such a huge nightmare!!!!!

A Snuggery in the Shire

I can't believe my time here has come to an end. Deerfield Village has been my cozy and healing snuggery for two-years. During my time here I have had the peace to heal and the quiet I need to write. My neighbors have been wonderful.
My apartment was large and very comfortable. And, everything always maintained and working. As soon as my hot water heater went out, the wonderful maintenance men had it replaced within hours.

I lived here in 2013 and out of my 16 different moves in life, this is my favorite in Lubbock. I love all the trees and plants, it’s quiet, the office staff were great and maintenance issues were always taken care of quickly. Each apartment has a storm door so it really feels homey. I also loved the privacy of the pool and the huge dog park. This place is a hidden gem. Since I left they added covered parking. Just loved it there. Considering a move back.

The property is clean and well held together but what really makes this place five stars is it’s staff. Office staff will go above and beyond to serve you and ensure your living experience is optimal. Maintenance is very fast and efficient, even came in late on a Friday to check on my A/C so I wouldn’t be dying in the heat all weekend.
