You either get lucky and find an apartment for a lower rent cost or you pay more for less space-because "that is the market value at the time" and moving forward you pay more than new tenants for a one bedroom with additional perks like a balcony/ or views. It's clean, maintenance is very fast and responsive, neighbors are friendly, and amenities are well taken care of. It is also in a great area with a nice park but most of all, I have always felt safe in the complex as well as the surrounding area.
