Cockroaches and bed bugs
January 27, 2022Do not move into Gentry Manor Apts. unless you like room mates (hundreds of them). The pest problem at Gentry Manors is out of control. I had cockroaches in my furniture, kitchen cabinets, refrigerator, shower, books and even my toothbrush. I was ashamed to have guests over to my apartment because of cockroaches crawling across my ceiling and walls. The bed bugs were even worse. I would wake up in the morning with bites all over my body. The itchy welts would last for several days. I even ...found bed bugs in my clothing which made me feel uncomfortable about going to work and visiting friends. I was easily bitten over a hundred times in the course of several months. The problem became so bad that I had to move out of Gentry Manor. Of course, I had to dispose of my bed, couch, and lazy boy chair because I did not want to transport any pests to my new location. August 1, 2021Such a perfect location, walking distance to downtown. I highly recommend this complex for anyone seeking a great property ran by a team who really cares about going above and beyond. Very friendly and welcoming staff
July 29, 2021My husband and I moved in the community in October 2020. From the moment we came in looking for an apartment we were treated like family. The management team is doing great and I appreciate all the effort they are taking to keep residents happy, always responsive to requests and very nice people. Nightmare
March 22, 2021No hot water. Cockroaches. Worst of all... Infested with Bed Bugs. They crawl on you when you're sleeping and bite and eat on you in your sleep. Leaving a big itchy bite on you that scars.Reseña de Apartments.com
Cheap & dirty
March 13, 2021I’ve been living in this building for almost a year now and cannot wait to get out! It’s cheaply made and dirty. Air and rain come right through the old windows, there are roaches and ants. The water runs orange in the bathroom for the first few seconds and the hot water is seriously lacking throughout the day. I take around 2 cold showers a week but when I asked they said it was normal because “everyone is using it at the same time”.. Also my bathtub has been peeling off the cheap coat of paint ...they put one for weeks now but they don’t seem in a rush to fix anything. They said they would simply dump another coat on top of it but never came back to do it.. The walls are thin so be ready to hear your neighbors especially at night! The garbage containers overflow regularly and it isn’t uncommon to find needles on the parking lot due to junkies hanging around.. The front door is basically never locked and if you come home too late, good luck finding a parking spot.. Do I really need to keep going?Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com

March 4, 2021Do not waist your time and money. This was the worst apartment I have ever rented. Management is a joke. They do not maintain these apartments and they are heavily infested with roaches and beetles. The units are over populated. As much a five people living in a one bedroom. Great area, Great price, Great Opportunity
August 29, 2019I spent 3 years at Gentry Manor and have to say it was very reasonably priced, the area is fantastic and it is a quick walk to the train station. This is a commuter on a budget dream come true. If you are on a budget and looking to provide your kids an opportunity to go to some of the best schools around this is a great place. When in my apartment I couldn't hear my neighbors and everyone I met was nice and respectful. The halls and common areas are clean and maintained. Any issues I had ...were quickly resolved when reported to the management team. Another perk is the management team. They are extremely friendly and quick to take action on any issues reported to them. Nice and spacious rooms
June 4, 2018I've been a resident of Gentry manor for 11 years. My apartment is very clean and spacious. The grounds outside are very beautiful, plants are so pretty and when you walk around the building is very clean. They take good care of the property. Its a very calming environment walking around and inside the building. Tenants are very friendly and management go above and beyond to help you with any needs and when you walk into the office the very first person you will see is ms sanchez, she's very ...warm, gracious and helpful and if you have a work order request, it's taken care of right away. Nice Apartments
May 31, 2018This is a beautiful place to live. The apartments are very nice, brand new carpet, freshly painted, anything that may need to be looked at or fixed is taken care of the same day you call the office to report your apartments needs! They send maintenance over to access what the problem right away however please keep in mind emergencies come first, before just something you “want” them to do for you so be patient someone will address your situation as quickly as they possibly can.
