Think Twice Before Applying: A Deeply Disappointing Experience-A Warning to Renters: Unprofessional and Unreliable Management
March 31, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comMy experience with this property management company was deeply disappointing. Throughout the application process, I asked several reasonable questions about the lease—basic clarifications any prospective tenant should be able to request, especially when the written lease conflicted with what I had been told verbally or in writing. Questions any competent management team should be able to answer without hesitation. Instead of receiving clear or timely answers, I was repeatedly told by the manager, ...Teodora, that she was too busy overseeing multiple properties to respond. What made this even more concerning was the contrast between the lack of answers and the frequency of messages threatening to cancel my application. There seemed to be time for warnings, but never for transparency or professionalism. That speaks volumes about their priorities, and none of it reflects professionalism, respect, or reliability. This pattern of communication left me with zero confidence in their ability to manage a tenancy responsibly. If this is how they treat someone before a lease is even signed, I can only imagine how dismissive or unresponsive they might be once you actually live there. I ultimately withdrew my application because I refuse to tolerate incompetence, and inconsistency. Nor will I lower my expectations and settle for a community that offers so little respect or reliability in return. Anyone considering renting from them should think twice and proceed with caution.Read More
Cockroaches and bed bugs
January 27, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comDo not move into Gentry Manor Apts. unless you like room mates (hundreds of them). The pest problem at Gentry Manors is out of control. I had cockroaches in my furniture, kitchen cabinets, refrigerator, shower, books and even my toothbrush. I was ashamed to have guests over to my apartment because of cockroaches crawling across my ceiling and walls. The bed bugs were even worse. I would wake up in the morning with bites all over my body. The itchy welts would last for several days. I even ...found bed bugs in my clothing which made me feel uncomfortable about going to work and visiting friends. I was easily bitten over a hundred times in the course of several months. The problem became so bad that I had to move out of Gentry Manor. Of course, I had to dispose of my bed, couch, and lazy boy chair because I did not want to transport any pests to my new location. It was expensive to hire a company to haul these these things away. Living at Gentry Manor was a horrific experience.Read More

March 13, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comI’ve been living in this building for almost a year now and cannot wait to get out! It’s cheaply made and dirty. Air and rain come right through the old windows, there are roaches and ants. The water runs orange in the bathroom for the first few seconds and the hot water is seriously lacking throughout the day. I take around 2 cold showers a week but when I asked they said it was normal because “everyone is using it at the same time”.. Also my bathtub has been peeling off the cheap coat of paint ...they put one for weeks now but they don’t seem in a rush to fix anything. They said they would simply dump another coat on top of it but never came back to do it.. The walls are thin so be ready to hear your neighbors especially at night! The garbage containers overflow regularly and it isn’t uncommon to find needles on the parking lot due to junkies hanging around.. The front door is basically never locked and if you come home too late, good luck finding a parking spot.. Do I really need to keep going?Read More

They do not maintain these apartments and they are heavily infested with roaches and beetles. The units are over populated. As much a five people living in a one bedroom. Don't fall for the lies.

This is a commuter on a budget dream come true. If you are on a budget and looking to provide your kids an opportunity to go to some of the best schools around this is a great place. When in my apartment I couldn't hear my neighbors and everyone I met was nice and respectful. The halls and common areas are clean and maintained. Any issues I had ...were quickly resolved when reported to the management team. Another perk is the management team. The grounds outside are very beautiful, plants are so pretty and when you walk around the building is very clean. They take good care of the property. Its a very calming environment walking around and inside the building.
