What a great place to rent! From their thoughtfulness on holidays to every day service and maintenance we really enjoyed our time here. The property manager Bill was always warm and welcoming and understanding as well, as was the office employee’s. My husband and I really loved it here! We made life time friends with one of the staff, Mildred, and she would always keep an eye on our apartment in terms of mail and our car when my husband and I were out of town due to deployments. ...years roughly that we lived here, we thankfully only had one maintenance emergency due to heavy rain fall, which they responded to very promptly! During this maintenance emergency Bill offered the model apartment for my husband and I to stay in while the issue was handled. We were a newly married couple when we first moved to Virginia and we got the one bedroom apartment which we loved, we were able to decorate the walls and make it our own. Later down the road we moved across the way to a really nice two bedroom apartment newly remodeled Kitchen which again we loved so very much. The property overall was very clean and well kept. The property does allow dogs and everyone seemed to do a pretty good job of picking up after their dogs, which is a really big deal when you find yourself wanting to cut through the grass to get your apartment in the rain! The neighbors were very friendly as well, and we never had a noise complaint. The property remained quiet during all times of the day, even on holidays! The amenities are very nice, from the pool, to the gym, and the community center, everything is kept very clean. In the community center you find coffee, comfy chairs, as well as computers and printers for you to print. If you are considering applying to Northshore Gardens I feel as though you won’t regret it!
