  • Can't wait to end my lease!

    I moved into Perry Street lofts this past August. I leased sight unseen, my mistake. I'm trying to stick out my lease, but everyday I consider paying the cost to terminate my lease earlier. The pictures above ARE NOT of the Perry Street building. Perry Street has no gym or clubhouse, and the pool looked terrible while opened during the summer. Trash was everywhere. Residents allow their pets to poop all over the sidewalks and they just leave it there. The building is roach and rat ...

    This place is disgusting and dangerous, bugs everywhere and animal droppings all over the place. Management could care less. They do the minimum to stay out of trouble with code compliance. STAY AWAY. THERES A REASON THERES SO MANY VACANCIES.

    Even after seeing bad reviews i gave this place a chance..i definitely should i listened! The building is infested with roaches! I’m very clean & I’ve tried everything to get rid of the pest but nothing works! The property is suppose to be “gated” but the gates are broken meaning they stay open leaving anyone to be able to come in! The call box is broken. My vehicle has been towed TWICE while living here for unexplained reasons. Also they charge you for stuff they claim they have evidence of but ...
    cannot prove it. The receptionist is extremely rude & unprofessional. Do not move here you have been warned.

  • Amazing Property

    The staff was very helpful and made my experience very easy. The application is online and since the offices were closed during Covid-19 they still made my experience great! They sent photos of the home I applied for and made sure to let me see it in person right before moving in! Beautiful property and well maintained by maintenance as well.

  • Rudest people Ive ever met

    I would like to share my experience trying to receive a tour of the property. This week I have toured 5 different lofts in old town Petersburg. Your property was by far the worst experience. I have never met ruder more unprofessional people in my life, as if doing the job they receive a paycheck for is an inconvenience. Wednesday September 11th we had an 12:30 appointment, waited for over 30 minutes just to find out they were over booked that day. We returned today, Thursday September 12th for ...
    our 11:30 appointment. This was our second time trying to see the property. We get here to meet the rudest man I’ve ever met. Never have I been treated so poorly in my life. We had a 10 second conversation after we pretty much insinuated that I couldn’t afford the property despite it being far under my budget and one of the dirtiest leasing offices I’ve been in to date. Then he refused to show us the property despite me and my mother both providing our drivers license. He was disrespectful and talked to us like dogs! If this is your management team I’m so glad that this place is no longer on my list! I wasn’t impressed by the website and the awful reviews but still decided to give it a chance. Can’t wait to post a million negative reviews of this place and tell anyone who is considering it to not walk but run away from this place! Worst experience of my life, consider getting a better team before you run out of business.

  • Pests/Roaches

    There are cockroaches in the apartment building. People are dirty and no matter how much you clean, they still come back. There is mold because they aren’t treating the brick, so I have to clean the walls every couple weeks. I didn’t know any of this until it was too late and I signed the lease. There was a shooting in the front of the buildings lobby a couple of months ago. People don’t pick up after their pets. All around this isn’t a place you want to live. Not safe. Not clean. Don’t over pay ...

  • Nice Place. Nice People

    My wife and I have been at Perry Street Lofts since last August. She was working at Fort Lee doing some consulting work. The place is a great value. It's clean, the people are nice and there's a nice gym. In January, there was a problem with my hot water. I submitted a maintenance request and the problem got fixed the next day. It sucked that the hot water turned off- but management did the right thing. All good now.

  • Nurse Approved!

    I recently took a nursing job at the John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell. Perry Street Lofts is ~10 miles away. The property is right off 95- which allows me to get back and forth to see my mom in Richmond fairly easily. The building feels like a nice loft. High ceilings, exposed ducts etc. Very friendly staff- though I work nights so I don't see them very often. Rosemary is great. I would like to see more resident events. I think most people in the building keep to themselves.

  • Awesome Building

    Moved into the building in June after relocating to the Richmond area. My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice building- but couldn't afford the Richmond rents. Perry Street Lofts is a great value. Paul (the manager) was very helpful with my move-in. He even gave my girlfriend a tour of the unit on facetime when she was out of town.

  • Perry street Lover

    I absolutely Love Perry Street.! I miss this place so much. You can't find a place this nice and all inclusive anywhere else. They have very fair prices when it comes to their apartments. The high ceilings and tall Windows makes your stay feel even better. The countertops in the kitchen and bathroom have a nice granite finish. This place is just awesome. I wish they had a Perry street where I live now. This was my first apartment and I haven't ran pass a better one yet.!

  • Bang for your buck

    Beautiful apts. Great to have the all inclusive rent plus utilities! I've stayed in both the 2 bed 2 bath layout as well as the 1 bed 1 bath layout. The amenities at Perry street make the life of a busy person more convenient! One thing that I did not like, which made this location short of 5 stars is the small bedroom spaces. I have a full queen bedroom set with chest, dresser with mirror, plus 2 night stands. With strategic placement, everything fits, but with a tight squeeze of walking space. ...
    Other than that great place to stay. I'd stay there again if I still lived in the area.
