May 31, 2026 - Reseña de Apartments.comI've been at this property several years, and I was quite pleased and planning on staying indefinitely. However, when the previous management team was bought out and replaced by GoldOller property management about 6 months ago, it has been one problem after another. There was problems when they first started. Our apartment portal (where maintence,rent, and most everything was handled) was non functional for over a month (yes that meant we couldn't pay rent online until it was fixed). The ...building dumpsters were not collected for several weeks. The office was straight up closed for a couple weeks during most business hours, with irregular hours after that. All maintenance requests that had been in process when this transfer happened were lost. There was lack of communication around parking stickers for a new towing company, and new electric fobs for the main doors. There have also been several issues that have continued since GoldOller purchased the property. There hasn't been any pest control since then. The LuxorOne package system (that we pay into every month) has been non functional. When I reached out (after 4 packages were lost in two weeks) I was told the Luxor system 'was down indefinitely'. For these last 6 months, all building packages have been left on a bench inside the main door, and a lot of packages are destroyed, misplaced, or never delivered. Any non emergency maintenance requests are extremely hit or miss. I've had a nonfunctional dishwasher waiting for maintence since before the transfer. The new online portal is the only means for written communication wiith management (if there is a contact email it is very well hidden) and I have been having problems with writing messages that say they sent, but not being shown in with the sent messages or replied too. In general the main office people seem nice, but consistently didn't seem to understand why some of these issues are pretty concerning. Today the last straw was I came home to find ALL of the packages on the bench (where they have been delivered given the lack of the package lockers) had been torn open and the contents removed or scattered. I like my neighbors, I like the building and the neighborhood. A year ago I wouldn't picture leaving. Unless stuff changes though, I can't imagine renewing my lease. I'm not somebody that writes reviews normally, but given the lack of progress with in person conversations, and the inability for written communication, I'm at a loss.Leer MásProperty Manager Responded

I'm trying to stick out my lease, but everyday I consider paying the cost to terminate my lease earlier. The pictures above ARE NOT of the Perry Street building. Perry Street has no gym or clubhouse, and the pool looked terrible while opened during the summer. Trash was everywhere. Residents allow their pets to poop all over the sidewalks and they just leave it there. The building is roach and rat ...infested, the parking lot is often littered with trash. I’m very clean & I’ve tried everything to get rid of the pest but nothing works! The property is suppose to be “gated” but the gates are broken meaning they stay open leaving anyone to be able to come in! The call box is broken. My vehicle has been towed TWICE while living here for unexplained reasons. Also they charge you for stuff they claim they have evidence of but ...cannot prove it. Rudest people Ive ever met
September 12, 2019 - Reseña de Apartments.comI would like to share my experience trying to receive a tour of the property. This week I have toured 5 different lofts in old town Petersburg. Your property was by far the worst experience. I have never met ruder more unprofessional people in my life, as if doing the job they receive a paycheck for is an inconvenience. Wednesday September 11th we had an 12:30 appointment, waited for over 30 minutes just to find out they were over booked that day. We returned today, Thursday September 12th for ...our 11:30 appointment. This was our second time trying to see the property. We get here to meet the rudest man I’ve ever met. Never have I been treated so poorly in my life. We had a 10 second conversation after we pretty much insinuated that I couldn’t afford the property despite it being far under my budget and one of the dirtiest leasing offices I’ve been in to date. Then he refused to show us the property despite me and my mother both providing our drivers license. He was disrespectful and talked to us like dogs! If this is your management team I’m so glad that this place is no longer on my list! I wasn’t impressed by the website and the awful reviews but still decided to give it a chance. Can’t wait to post a million negative reviews of this place and tell anyone who is considering it to not walk but run away from this place! June 16, 2019 - Reseña de Apartments.comThere are cockroaches in the apartment building. People are dirty and no matter how much you clean, they still come back. There is mold because they aren’t treating the brick, so I have to clean the walls every couple weeks. I didn’t know any of this until it was too late and I signed the lease. There was a shooting in the front of the buildings lobby a couple of months ago. People don’t pick up after their pets. All around this isn’t a place you want to live. Not safe. Not clean. It's clean, the people are nice and there's a nice gym. In January, there was a problem with my hot water. I submitted a maintenance request and the problem got fixed the next day. It sucked that the hot water turned off- but management did the right thing. All good now.Property Manager Responded

October 12, 2018 - Reseña de Apartments.comI recently took a nursing job at the John Randolph Medical Center in Hopewell. Perry Street Lofts is ~10 miles away. The property is right off 95- which allows me to get back and forth to see my mom in Richmond fairly easily. The building feels like a nice loft. High ceilings, exposed ducts etc. Very friendly staff- though I work nights so I don't see them very often. Rosemary is great. I would like to see more resident events. I think most people in the building keep to themselves.

June 22, 2016 - Reseña de Apartments.comI absolutely Love Perry Street.! I miss this place so much. You can't find a place this nice and all inclusive anywhere else. They have very fair prices when it comes to their apartments. The high ceilings and tall Windows makes your stay feel even better. The countertops in the kitchen and bathroom have a nice granite finish. This place is just awesome. I wish they had a Perry street where I live now. This was my first apartment and I haven't ran pass a better one yet.!Property Manager Responded
