Despite repeated requests to trim a dying tree, a colossal branch weighing thousands of pounds broke off, puncturing a hole in my roof. Immediate reporting of this dangerous situation yielded no action from the indifferent management, leaving the perilous limb precariously in place. Driving around the property reveals a landscape marred by damages from fallen tree limbs and roofs patched with tarps. For over a month, water leaked into my residence, causing visible stains and discoloration of the roof to a sickly yellow. The utter disregard for resident safety and property maintenance is not just inconvenient but reprehensible. While wear and tear are inevitable, the majority of these issues stem from a glaring lack of proper maintenance and property upkeep by the negligent management. Your responsibility as a renter should not extend to carrying the burden of long-term structural problems. Southern Villas fails to prioritize residents' well-being and shirks its duty to maintain the property adequately. Save yourself from this leasing nightmare of false promises, neglect, and unwarranted charges. Choose a residence where the management values tenants, upholds maintenance responsibilities, and ensures your safety.

Several other things that have not been fixed. So before you move in, don’t be fooled by the model, ask to see the unit before putting down any deposit. This place is not ready to be lived in. If you have kids like in my case, I do not recommend it.
