No care for the apartments
July 15, 2021There is little care for the apartments. There have been multiple instants of flooding from the floor above, and no effort was made to take care of mold. This is supposed to be a smoke-free apartment, but it isn't, and they don't even try to stop people from smoking in their apartments. The maintenance staff is terrible; they're slow, inefficient, and in some cases they don't even do the job despite multiple requests. Don't expect any help from maintenance. The bathroom and kitchen have areas ...painted over that should have been cleaned, so there is crud and mold under layers of paint. The apartments themselves have a nice amount of room, and the office staff keeps a pleasant attitude, but don't expect that means they'll do what they say.Property Manager Responded

I have lived here 4 years!
September 8, 2020When I first moved here, things were okay, but seemed like management didn't care very much. But they changed managers right around that time and have improved ever since and seem to really care about the residents. If I hadn't bought a house, I would still be there. When I called in work orders, they were completed in a day or so. The only time I had to wait a couple of days was when they had to order a part for my oven. I really enjoyed having my garage attached to my apartment too. Very ...friendly staff! Very homey and close to everything!Property Manager Responded

Awful
September 2, 2020Mold problems that were painted over , not fixed. Ac went out in May and wasn’t fixed when I moved out in August. Had to relocate 8-9 times, rehome my dog the same amount. AND my home office as I work from home. Got too hot to stay there. Made maintenance requests each time it froze up and a few times they ignored it completely!!!. Microwave and dishwasher both broke in April and were never fixed by the the time I moved out either. Drug problems in building 4 and other buildings that were ...overlooked Drug deals in broad daylight right out front of the buildings Terrible maintenance. Security gates were stuck open and broken more than they worked. Do not waste your life or money by living here.Property Manager Responded

DIFFICULT TO GET MAINTENANCE
June 10, 2020When I entered this community in March 2019, I was highly pleased and left a positive review. However, with the recent change in management, I am not at all pleased with living here. I have multiple work orders for my apartment and Management refuses to respond. My central A/C unit quit working, and they put a noisy window unit to keep my bedroom cool, and it's been 2 weeks and they haven't yet fixed the central unit. My dishwasher has not been working for 3 months and after multiple work orders, ...it is still not working. I called the office today and discovered THEY HAVE CLOSED THOSE PREVIOUS WORK ORDERS, and had no open work order for my non-functioning dishwasher. My toilet has been running for six months, and maintenance says that I need to "jiggle the handle" when that happens. I have tried contacting their corporate office, and they did not respond to my email. I called today to speak with the Manager about this issue, and she refused to take my telephone call, leaving me to speak with her staff. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE. FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO LIVE. THIS NEW MANAGEMENT DOESN'T CARE, and are quick to provide "excuses" why they can't fulfill their end of the lease and keep the appliances fixed.Property Manager Responded

October 15, 2018It took maintenance almost 3 months to get my utility room working. They didn't listen to me when I informed them that an electrician was needed. Then,when the electrician was finally brought in, multiple holes had to be made in the ceiling which were later patched poorly by maintenance. Other work orders were also dismissed that needed attention. The gates were open most of the time even though it was advertised as a gated community and I never saw the pool open.Reseña de Apartments.com
Horrible experience
July 10, 2018The environment is great and quiet but the maintenance let's start with that first their horrible to the core stayed there for a few months and the hvac went out it took them 2 weeks of calling and multiple work orders for them to do something. The fact that I have children and a wife doesn't mean anything to them. everytime I see them the maintenance men are sitting out in the work carts or just driving around doing nothing there are a few times where I would see them poolside not working of ...course and conversing with friends. I have put work orders that are ignored all the time I have had some posted for months and no results I tried to be respectful thinking they do their jobs but no not any more. Let's get on the staff anytime there is an issue it always has a bland response as if it doesn't matter to them. The staff have no authority when it comes to ensuring their maintenance staff does their job. The appear to be nice when you speak to them and that's about it and the only time they pay attention is when the rent is due. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE PLEASE!!!!!!Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
Worst Management
February 12, 2018I have lived in many apartments and the management here is by far the worst I have encountered. The lack customer service and the maintenance teams level of knowledgeability is subpar. I would urge anyone I know to avoid living here. Even the grounds are not kept up. (Ex. There were underwear in the parking lot and trash in the breezeway for weeks.) The management does not take responsibility or ownership of any issue on the property. WORST MANAGEMENT IN THE AREA...
December 28, 2017Lazy management staffs..playing card games or gossiping..never take your maintenance issues seriously and don't pass your work order to the maintenance guys to save money.. broken main entrance for last 6 months, dirty laundry...out of order or missing equipment in gym and the swimming pool was closed this whole summer..All thanks to the stupid office staffs who act they know it all...Always trying to squeeze money, specially when you are moving out....Property Manager Responded

Good/Bad
May 30, 2017I have been at Stoneleigh for about 2 years and I love my unit, lots of space but, the maintenance staff is past horrible. Our HVAC unit was having trouble and it took 6 work orders and calls to corporate to get someone to do anything. Now our refrigerator doesn't work and I'm on work order #3 and still no one has came by its been almost a month. But on a good note the office staff is nice, they not gonna make sure work orders are getting completed but they always have a smile.Property Manager Responded

October 27, 2015Not only did they not take care of ANY work orders I put in even after coming in multiple times, they even went as far as to say they had no record of me ever putting work orders in. They say the maintenance men are "busy" but they can often be seen in the leasing office conversing with the ladies or out on property sitting in their vehicles. The trash collectors don't pick up all of the trash and when they do they always manage to leave a mess around the breezeway to your apartment. There is ...nobody that cleans up the overflowing bins of dog waste bags that end up flying over the yards and making a mess. They also conveniently raised my monthly rent when I went in to pay in advanced, stating I had a non existent credit, and that the number on my leasing agreement wasn't the total. They also don't seem to train their new hires, as I would get told one thing by one leasing agent and then something totally different by another. So basically, if you want to live where they don't fix anything, where's there's trash constantly floating around and is staffed by a less than knowledgable leasing office, this is the place for you.Leer MásReseña de Apartments.com
