Poor Conditons & Experience

The STRUCTURE is beautiful. If the building as a whole was taken care of and the individual units invested in, as well as weeding out nasty and unclean residents, it would be a great place to live. When I moved in, things were unfinished and not taken care of. The patio door was broken and bugs were getting in, the toilet was LEAKING because it wasn't finished. The walls had a "glaze" coat of gunk from smoke from the previous resident. The shower was disgusting! I still can't get some of the ...

stains out. The patio door wasn't cleaned and is also without a screen. Management - D&Y Properties and Hunter Recovery Services doesn't care about the cleanliness or presentation of these units. The hallway stinks of animals, trash (residents leave it out in the hallway) and the carpet is FILTHY. Spider webs are in all the corners as well. The experience is not worth rent. There is clearly a lack of true management and while I'm grateful for a roof over my head, things should be much better. This is ridiculous.
