off. I tried to ask her a couple of questions but she cut me off and opened the door and then slammed it shut behind us, not even entering to tour it with us. I’m not even making this up for the sake of a negative review, she was HANDS DOWN one of the rudest people I’ve ever met in Lexington. She sat on the outer steps. After I was finished, I asked her if I could ask her a few questions about the place. She waved her hands and said she didn’t know anything about the property, the rent or deposit information or anything and that if I was interested I’d have to call her mother. It couldn’t have been anything personal since she exited her car and met us that way before we even said hello. She seemed super angry and like it was the last thing on Earth she wanted to do. At any rate, I assumed maybe she was inconvenienced by her mother and didn’t want to show it to us on a weekend so I said whatever and let it go. I called the landlord that same Saturday evening and left a voicemail. I let her know I was interested and that her daughter said if I wanted to make a deposit to contact her. No reply. Cool. I waited and gave her to Monday. I called back Monday afternoon left a voicemail. No reply. Hmm... maybe she has a lot of properties and was just busy. I waited until Wednesday and same thing. Voicemail. No reply. In that message I did say “It’s near the end of the month and I’m looking at a few properties so I just want to be sure I can cross this one off my list. I'd appreciate a call back to let me know.” No reply. It's interesting that when it convenience her and she needed to change the appointment times, her phone worked. But when I called to express interest, she couldn't be bothered to pick up. It's fine if she had rented it already or something else but just let someone know not to waste their time. Just a really rude and confusing experience.
