Renters Reviews and Ratings
Filthy building the smell is terrible, management cares about nothing except collecting rent payments.
June 18, 2025The only way to get management’s attention is by applying to the board, which then contacts them. This typically results in minimal action, such as posting a note on the elevators. They never respond to tenant emails, no matter how serious the issue. Additionally, every 1–2 weeks, police cars and ambulances show up outside the building something is always happening. The building is disgusting overall. They make the superintendent do all the work to avoid spending money on cleaning crews, not ...even once a year. What can one man do for 12 floors? It’s crazy.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Dirty
November 6, 2024This building is filthy. The elevators are always dirty, floors, walls, key pads, everything. The carpets in the corridors are filthy. They are only cleaned maybe every 6 months at best. Not even vacuumed. The ceilings in the corridors are literally crumbling. Plaster falling down, ceilings bulging. The corridor walls have visible filth literally dripping down them. The garbage chute rooms on each floor are disgusting. They're never cleaned. The property managers have one superintendent who is ...responsible for all tenant matters, maintenance matters, and is expected to clean the entire 12 story building by himself while doing all that. It's nonsense. Many tenants have had mice in their units repeatedly. It's obvious where they're coming from (massive holes in the walls where the rad pipes come out), but nothing is done about it. I've asked for the building cleanliness to be addressed so many times over the years I've lost count. It never is. Management is constantly applying to the LTB for above guideline rent increases, so now tenants are afraid to complain about basic maintenance issues because it will just mean another massive rent increase. It is boiling hot to the point where it's causing health issues for some tenants because heat is centrally controlled and not easily turned off. So if it goes up to 20 degrees in November, the heating is still on. It's so hot at night I can't sleep. Again, I and other tenants have raised this issue many times but we're told nothing can be done about it. I would advise you rent elsewhere.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
