Great location, big apartments, good parking, lousy neighbors

210 18th St. in downtown H.B. is a 12 unit complex located 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. There is undeground parking for 12 vehicles and another 6 spaces in back. Parking is good for this close to the beach. The tenants are mostly quiet with a few loud gathereings once or twice a month. Dogs and cats are allowed. All the apartments are two bedrooms with most have 2 full baths and a some have 1 full bath with 2 other bathrooms with sinks and toilets only. Bedrooms are big and closet spaces are ...

big. the 2 story units have storage under the stairs. Biggest problem is the neighbor apartments.. got some skinny kid who thinks it is okaty to pound the drums in his garage. One long time resident starts drinking at 9 am and gets loud in the afternoon but is usually passed out by 7 pm. The manager allowed this guy "Danny" to park his boat in one of our spots. He likes to move his boat out around 3 in the morning waking us up. Washes his boat and does repair work in the alley blocking access. Called the H.B. police before but they say they can do nothing. "Danny's" brother is a H.B. police officer. Now you can guess why the police do nothing. In conclusion: spacious apartments, good parking, nice tenants, excellent location but lousy neighbors. i
