I have been a resident at 24 Eva Road and am very disappointed with the ongoing issues in this building.
There has been a significant cockroach infestation, and despite repeated concerns from residents, the problem continues. One of the biggest challenges is that some residents refuse access to pest control teams, making it difficult to properly treat the building. environment for everyone.
Residents were informed that the building would be sprayed by Apollo Pest Control, but when the scheduled visit occurred, many units only received traps instead of the full treatment that had been expected. This left many residents frustrated and concerned that the infestation was not being properly addressed.
Communication and follow-through from management have been disappointing. Multiple attempts have been made to raise these concerns and seek assistance, but meaningful action has been limited.
To make matters worse, residents are now facing a proposed rent increase of 11.33% following the balcony work. Given the ongoing pest and maintenance issues, many tenants feel this increase is unreasonable and unfair.
Residents deserve a clean, safe, and properly maintained building. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works toward real solutions rather than temporary fixes.
