A neighborhood feel in the middle of NYC!
October 9, 2015With the hustle and bustle of New York City it's so nice to come home to a street where people greet you with a big smile. I have lived in this pre-war building for seven years and it is the first apartment that feels like home. Beautiful 12-foot ceilings and crown moulding along with hardwood floors and a big backyard. Yes, a backyard! After squeezing close on a crowded 1 train (only a block away) it's wonderful to cross over Bleecker on my walk home and to say hello to Walter who owns the ...antique shop or Rose Marie in the door of her dress shop. That's what a neighborhood feels like. And I'm close to absolutely everything. All that you need within a block...Dr. Sane to take care of my dogs, laundry and dry cleaning...they deliver, the bodega where George always has a smile, Cowgirl for a drink or Little Owl for dinner where you can spot one of the many celebrities who live in the neighborhood. And if you recognize the building where Little Owl is nestled, you are a Friends fan. That is the building where Monica and the boys all lived. But, by far, my super is the biggest draw of the building. Tony takes care of you like you are one of his own. My dad lives far away but with Tony close by I'm always taken care of.
