The rent on a 1 bedroom runs you about $1,300, which isn't too bad for West L.A. The units are pretty spacious, but the building is old and has TERRIBLE plumbing. In the first 2 months of living there the garbage disposal backed up twice and flooded my kitchen, and the toilet flooded the entire bathroom and damaged the carpet. Suffice to say I've spent a lot of time cleaning. Otherwise, the neighborhood is really nice (despite some unsightly bungalows near the train tracks, but that's a safe ...
