I hereby want to express my dissatisfaction and annoyance with the situation experienced in the complex during the last week, related to the deplorable state of the common areas and the obvious lack of action on the part of the staff in charge of maintaining them.
For several days, the community grills remained completely dirty, as did the overflowing garbage containers, the pool and the recreational area, all in deplorable and unhealthy conditions. This not only affected the experience of those ...
of us who live here, but also represents a risk to health and coexistence.
When I went to the office to file the complaint, I was informed that the person responsible for cleaning and maintenance was on vacation. However, there was a person designated to cover for her, and she did absolutely nothing. Which seems to me a lack of respect and a sign of serious irresponsibility.
Now, I want to make something clear: my claim is not addressed to the employee who was on vacation. In fact, I want to express my appreciation to her, since I have seen her on many occasions performing extremely heavy and difficult tasks, things that often exceed what is reasonable for a single person. The current situation leads me to ask myself:
Should all the weight of this complex fall only on a single worker?
It is completely unacceptable that, if she is absent for a few days - with all her right -, the whole place collapses because no one else assumes her responsibility, especially those who receive a better salary and did absolutely nothing about it.
This is not just a cleaning problem, it is a problem of management, leadership and labor justice. Those who administer this complex must ensure that there is always someone who meets the minimum maintenance standards, without relying exclusively on the sacrifice of a single person.
I request that immediate action be taken to correct this situation and ensure that it is not repeated under any circumstances. As residents, we fulfill our obligations. We demand the same from you.
