Beautiful unique apartment.
July 21, 2015Lived here for 7 years. Beautiful apartment (very unique look). Overall loved this apartment. Cons: 1) Landlord is responsive but beware - but don't bother her too much or she will give you a 60 day notice - I've seen it happen 2) Building isn't rent controlled - she will raise your rent as soon as she thinks property value is rising 3) No central air (1 wall unit in living room) Pros: 1) Tons of light in all rooms through the french windows 2) Although no air conditioning in the bedroom, ...this isn't a problem except for 2 weeks out of the year - close enough to the ocean to get great cross breeze 3) Area very gentrified, never had a break-in / car jack or any kind of hassle 4) Owner / Landlord lives off-site (I think this is a good thing, personally)Property Manager Responded
January 6, 2025I do not know who this Tenant is and 60 day notices are not allowed. This is a beautiful apartment so much like a condo and a great place to live. This review was written 8 years ago everything mentioned is true; however, rents are rarely raised. New powerful AC unit in the living room. The light is wonderful and the location is great, too.
