We moved to 37 West Apartments from Ohio, sight unseen for work. So, we were apprehensive, but everything turned out better than expected. The apartment is spacious and has all the upscale amenities you could ask for, even free cable channels. The Community Manager, Nicole is extremely helpful and has gone the extra mile for us a few times, putting up with our first-time apartment dweller questions. They hit the nail on the head when Lynchburg Living awarded them the best Lynchburg apartment complex of 2020. For a reasonable price, you get ultra-convenient amenities. Between our spacious 1442 square-foot 2-bedroom apartment, the 9-foot ceilings, a peaceful balcony, all modern appliances including the washer & dryer and then the extra community amenities, we are ecstatic. Also, Nicole has proven to be not only an efficient, professional apartment manager, skilled in problem-solving, but also an all-around great person. If you are having an issue, she goes above and beyond to not only solve it, but solve it FAST!
Finally, the location has proven to be an asset as well. Being located right off of Waterlick Road, and being near Timberlake Road as well, you can access 460E or West with respectable ease. We enjoy frequenting the 1727 Moose, which is literally right down the road from our apartment. La Caretta on Timberlake offers great dining environment, drinks and food!
So, all in all, 37 West is a delightful place for us to call home.

The apartments there are unbelievably spacious & accommodating. They're the closest thing to living in a house that you can get while still enjoying the convenience of apartment living. Trying to Get Out

Unless you are near death, don't rent here. We've been here two weeks and I'm already repacking and trying to figure a way out. The floors are not insulated, you can hear EVERYTHING in the floor, and yet anything above a whisper is considered "excessive". No thanks, I wanted this to be my home, not a prison or library. Definitely not a welcoming place for those with some life still in them.

A very unrelaxing time at the pool

What do you get after a 14 hour two day drive accompanied by a 4 hour move up and down three flights of stairs to help my family move in. “Well at 37 West you get harassed by an adamant employee at the pool”. Just trying to relax by the pool, listen to music, and read my book the “Pool lady” made it her personal mission to make sure I left. After sitting down for approximately two minutes she approaches me asking if I had signed in, with me replying “I am sorry I did not know that I had too, we ...
were new!” she then asked about my pool wrist band once again I replied “I am sorry I did not know about the wrist band” I then started to explain how my I was not the one living here I was only here for a few days just to help move in. now more than before she insisted that I leave an unknown resident saw what was going on and approached both of us he came up to us and said he is my guest putting a damper on her parade. Finally I thought to myself I can relax and just sit by the pool, after a few moments the unknown patron had left and wouldn’t you know the “Pool Lady” was blocking the sun once again telling me to leave. In order to prevent a conflict I did as she asked and left. All I have to say is 37 West you need to seek new employees specifically ones with good customer service. Thank you 37 West for for adding even more stress to the stressfulness of moving.
