RENTERS BEWARE!!! Awful MGMT! Landlord kept my deposit!!

The apartment I lived in for the last 4 years at 511 Avenue G was completely old and run down, they were going to have to completely re-do the place in order for anyone else to want/be able to move in. And knowing they were going to have to gut the place, they decided to ding my deposit for every minor deduction possible. I’ve been a renter for over 20 years and never have I not received my deposit back. Not only was the management horrible, they also raised the rent by $100 every year without ...
making any improvements to the apartment what-so-ever. When the owner is broke, they claim to not receive your rent check so that you will have to pay a late fee....Always pay rent through the bank or by certified mail...this place is shady af! Renters beware!!!!
