Horrible experience
September 26, 2017HORRIBLE experience that ruined our stay. I had read the increasing number of really bad reviews and understood the key hand over, cleaning etc was a huge issue because this apartment is not rented out by the owner but by an agency, who is disorganized at best and lying and not keeping their promises on purpose to make most money at worst. We reached out proactively to make sure there would be no cleaning and key issues and they called us and promised...it was an "old issue with past cleaners". ...We gave them a heads up on airport arrival as promised...when we got to the apartment there were no one but we got the key from the keybox and got in...to the dirty, filthy apartment. No towels, no sheets, dirty dishes, dirt and garbage on the floor etc. Hours later some cleaners come but without towels, sheets etc....we got that 24 hours before departure. There are only beds for 4 people so 2 people had to sleep on couch pillows on the floor. We kept being told everything was on the way but its a big lie just to stall you and I bet they often get away with it and save money. Don´t trust a word of what is promised and don´t expect help because there are no extra keys to the apartment in NY so we had to wait around the apartment to receive the cleaners and alter on the sheets. Hours were used on communication and problem solving and took away all the attention from what was supposed to be a relaxing trip.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
