The room sizes are a bit uneven so one person could go in cheap. The smallest is slightly bigger than avg room I've seen during my previous apartment hunting. Also, a prewar building so while it's slowly crumbling the sound proof is pretty decent. The crackies around the neighborhood requires a good sense of humor, unless they are chilling around your door step and inside... You'll hear some yelling all around the streets - makes for good entertainment unless it's 4am and you want to throw a rock at them. There are a ton of groceries and mom and pop shops with interesting Jamaican flavor. But limited selection on the inexpensive healthy cheap hipster buys. Like almond milk, those are way over priced. As for the building neighbors, for the most part they are curious at first but respectful. Some chattier than others.
