I’ve rented apartment three for a year. We are required to pay on utilities, water, sewer, electric gas. Come to find out my ductwork from my heat was piped into the common area staircase. When I confronted the landlord, I was told the vent was closed, which it was not and did not matter anyway forced air still goes through and it was the only heating source aside from my neighbors as well. The staircase in the front entrance is beautiful and classic with a floor length window on top and bottom floors and vintage modern floating staircase leading inbetween.
