selected for me was on the top floor which was four stories high. The apartment had a nice kitchen area, a specious living room, a bathroom having a bathtub and shower and it too was sizeable. There was also a spacious bedroom with a closet that was acceptable for a single person. There were five windows in this apartment, one large window in the living room, two large windows in the bedroom, a smaller window in the kitchen and finally a smaller window by the shower area of the bathroom. The location of this apartment complex was excellent because it was next to a main avenue where public transit was available. It was only eight minutes by car from the downtown area. It provided a wonderful view of the city area in all directions. I must include in this review some of the negative criticism that I did have about this complex. There was no central air conditioning units and the heater was of a very old model type. The laundry room was always having problems with the washers and dryers. The water draining from each washers would settle in the room and some laundry when being removed from the dryers would slip and fall onto the wet floor. There was only one elevator which was very small that would occasionally break down. Resulting with many of the tenants having to use the stairwells. Parking area was mostly adequate for one vehicle for each unit and any additional there was a separate lot an additional fee was to be paid. Now that I am in my senior years of life it seem necessary that I look for an apartment dwelling that does provide central air and heating, and the same affordability and accommodations which I received at this present location.
