Sun Drenched Prewar One Bedroom in Sunset Park
August 14, 2015You can save a little cash with this spacious prewar one bedroom apartment, located in the heart of bustling Sunset Park, Brooklyn. It might not be as hip as Williamsburg, but with a short train ride on the express D train, you are just minutes away from Park Slope, and the East and West Villages of Manhattan. The apartment, ideal for a single person or couple, is on the top floor of a four story walk-up. You'll get a workout while enjoying a quiet and sun-filled living space. There is a large ...entry-way/foyer, and a kitchen big enough to set a small table with chairs (great space for a cooks or bakers!) There are two large rooms on either side, both of which have doors and can be used as either a bedroom or a living room, your choice! Although this unit is in the back of the building, each room has two large windows facing west, so you'll wake up to the sun and song birds. There is no doorman, but the helpful super is on site if you need anything. This quiet and lovely apartment is a block from the beautiful Sunset Park, where there is a NYC Rec. Center with an outdoor pool, soccer fields, playgrounds and spectacular views of Manhattan. Spend July 4th in the park and watch over five sets of fireworks! Also within reach are laundry mats and grocery stores. It's a safe neighborhood surrounded with families and recently relocated hipsters. You won't find any hip wine bars or artisanal markets, but this gem is a great place to explore Chinese and Mexican culture, with restaurants and shops abound.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
