Adam's Trail Apartments

master bathroom felt a little small and the second bathroom has a door that's at an awkward angle to enter. However, it does have a full size washer and dryer, better than most apartments that have no in unit laundry or smaller stacked machines. The living room had a decent size and the kitchen was quite nice, larger than most apartments we've ever looked at, with lots of cabinet space and counter space for eating. The garage is detached but a short walk from the apartment door and there is plenty of space in the parking lot. The best part of these apartments is the radiant in floor heating which is included in the rent. All winter long our apartment was around a comfortable 73-74 degrees. Being in a lower unit facing north we basically never used the air conditioning, though I heard the upper units tended to get pretty warm during the summer. We had a small patio area where we put a grill and some plants which was nice, made it feel more like home. If you have a unit in the back building there's nothing but the parking lot and woods behind you which makes it feel fairly secluded for being in an apartment. The biggest negatives were that our carpet was very old and had several stains and some things in the apartment (hardware for the sinks, the tub, front door) felt a little dated. Also, the company they hired for snow removal last winter was not very good, I managed to get stuck at the entrance twice after the same storm. The location is decent, there's a large apartment complex on one side where we'd hear kids playing but the opposite side is nice owned homes and nothing but woods behind. The motel a few blocks down the road is a shady place but we never had any issues with anything and never felt unsafe. If you're looking for a reasonably priced apartment in a part of Racine that feels safe, has some of the luxuries like a garage, in floor heat, and in unit laundry that many apartments don't include, Adam's Trail is a nice place to live.
