SO FRUSTRATING LIVING HERE
July 29, 2023They never fix anything!!!! The laundry rooms have been closed for “renovations” for months and when they finally reopen, there was no notice given and the washing machines still say out of order. The pool has been closed for months and with no reopening dates. There is no AC in the units and they leave us to burn in 100*+ weather or tell us to keep the cooling system on all the time so the apartment can be 90* but thats an extra $100 in your electricity bill. There are roaches in the apartments. ...They are more worried about painting the outside than fixing actual issues in the apartments. June 29, 2023from the time, I walked into the beautiful office it was absolutely the best experience! staff was friendly took their time to answer all my questions. waiting time to hear back if I got the apt. was awesome!!, after move in, anything that need to be handled was and in a timely manner, I love my apt. and the neighbors, they even helped me move in. property is well kept, clean. complex is quit. January 23, 2020The worst place I ever leased from not knowing much because I'm not from here. If there's an issue good luck getting it fixed. Bugs and cats everywhere dog poop is in my front grass every morning I walk out. Not to mention nobody can give answers for my car being damaged from the front gate. From what I know it's illegal to damage someone's property and say I have to fix it. They will be nice until you sign a lease after that just obligated to pay rent and nothing gets fixed. Someone was ...shot over here. Gate is always broken. Cars always getting rims stolen and put on bricks. It's cool if you just need a place to stay. Terrible Place
January 15, 2020One resident was recently shot to death. The washers and dryers do not work properly. There is a cockroach infestation. There are stray cats. The office rarely answers the phone. I would not rent from here.Property Manager Responded

Apartments Decent, Location Awesome!
September 20, 2015These apartments were previously known as Meadowridge and are now The Wilcox. They've definitely come a long way since being remodeled. PROS: - The grounds/general appearance are kept up nicely - Hardwood floors and upgraded appliances available - Location is the best! You can walk to the NRG (Reliant) stadium, short drive/bus ride to med center, great restaurants, near meyerland shopping center - Bug and Critter free! Pest control available at request. - Spacious floor plans - Nicest apartments ...at this price in the area (i.e. 2bed/1 bath $820) CONS: - Apartment staff is very bothersome (leave notes and emails for every little thing) - Washer/Dryer connections unavailable to for upstairs residents - Apartment amenities unavailable once the office closes (i.e. Gym, pool, etc) - In the 2 years living here, one person killed, one car stolen - Minimal visitor parking available All in all, I've had a decent residential experience here. Truthfully, I would recommend this place to friends and family and I would stay another year. The main reason I would move is for a washer and dryer and access to a gym afterhours. Our Happy Little Home
July 20, 2015In moving to Houston, I searched around for a new place to call home. Came across The Wilcox Apartment Homes and decided to take a look. The grounds are kept clean when compared to surrounding complexes in the same price range. The office staff is friendly they answered all my questions prior to signing a lease in detail. Decided to move in a couple months later. Here I am a couple weeks after move in. Some say to wait a couple months before writing a review - to get to know how they really are ...treating residents but I would rather give credit when credit is due. I moved in with 17 year old dog - as he lives out his final years with love and happiness. He goes everywhere with me especially when I walk into the office. They all come out to greet him and love on him while asking if I needed anything. Admittedly the timeline between placing a work order and the time it gets completed may be long for some... But it's understandable for me. When the Maintenance staff finally arrived, they were very friendly, loved on my dog, then went about their work and explained what he was doing or if anything further needed to be done. He even took care of other little things that came up (hadn't had a chance to place a work order yet). Needless to say I am very happy with my decision to move here. It was a good decision for me and my dog. Biggest things for me are cleanliness and security.
