One thing to note is that, even in the smaller orders, the portions of food you receive are huge, so don't expect that just because they cater to the health conscious that the food will be minuscule, because they serve one of the biggest sandwiches in town. The ambiance of the place sets a mood of calm and relaxation, much like the homes of their namesakes. The restaurant looks more like a bed-and-breakfast than a health hut, with white picket fences running along the length of the place. Walking in is even more a shock, with all the wood and earthy brown that surrounds you, you'd think you've walked into an actually Hobbit's den. The walls are covered with magical painting, adding even more to the mystique of the place. If you're a vegetarian in Houston, or just a health nut, there are few better options for your lunch, dinner, or even breakfast needs. No more hiding in your apartment because you can't find a place that will cater to your diet, because the Hobbit Café has something that will please just about everyone, with great decor to boot.
