Allegro Apartments offers apartment-style housing that is specifically built to cater to the lifestyle and needs of college students and young professionals. Each person has a large private bedroom and shares a newly renovated new kitchen and bathroom with 3 other suitemates. There are a total of 140 bedrooms on the property. There is also an on-site gym, rec room with pool tables and games, and separate study/movie rooms should a group would like to utilize together. We also offer a volleyball and BBQ/picnic area for the tenants' enjoyment. While Allegro's cost is substantially less than that of a dorm or that of a conventional apartment, Allegro provides an easily packaged utility and wi/fi and cable services for $70 a month to the tenant without the tenant having to separately contract for each service. All is taken care of for you. Moreover, Allegro offers flexible, 6+ month leases, and the tenants have the flexibility to choose the length of the lease that he or she needs. No need to pay rent for those summer months when the student is away as other conventional apartments require. For those who are returning to the apartment but not staying through the summer, we even offer a storage service for a small additional charge. Our friendly on-site staff caters to all the student's needs including receiving packages, providing immediate maintenance and repair services, as well as coordinating any special needs. As the only off-campus housing dedicated to students and young professionals, we have the unique opportunity to tailor events and activities to our residents. Cleanliness, safety, and being cost-practical are essential to us. Our daughter was looking for independent living near SSU. We were apprehensive, not sure what to expect at Allegro due to past reviews. The manager, Liz, was very communicative and happily answered all the questions and concerns as parents that we had. Our daughter's overall experience has been a positive one. It is within walking distance of shops & located in a safe neighborhood. The quality of the apartment is what you ...
expect for the price and apartment living. The bedrooms are nice size with built-in dresser and desk. The grounds are well-maintained, and the washroom is clean. I feel content knowing our daughter is in a safe environment with property managers who seem to care.

Really good place as a student

I really enjoyed living at Allegro. They remodeled the kitchens and are really modern looking. It has spacious bedroom and living room. My room was awesome to love in and I loved the amount of space you got and the little nook area desk. You do live with three other people which is something to get used to but it is student apartments. Sometimes you hear people having parties or being loud but thats typically friday/saturday nights and not very often. I didn't really mind it. The area is ...
beautiful as well. You can pay extra for parking in the parking lot otherwise you'd have to find parking on the street. ..if you can. If you have a maintenance issue, Manny the maintenance man is very good and friendly. They are always on top of maintenance requests and I never had to worry about waiting. This is a great place to love and at a reasonable price. I will miss living here and I recommend it to students.

Horrible experience

Poor management and overall low quality. Renting a room in a newly built house (or any other living arrangement besides Allegro) is a better option in my opinion. There is a reason why this complex has such low ratings.

The property manager that is currently here invades privacy and does not care about tenants currently living in the facility. This complex has cameras only on the first floor which didn't help me when my house on the second floor was robbed. Overall you pay a lot of money to live in an apartment that doesn't look as good as the pictures online. Find somewhere cheaper and better.

Not recommended for students

The management of this apartment complex does not care about catering to students. The living conditions are not ideal; hot water is always being turned off, frequent theft/burgulary (vending machine broken into several times and bikes stolen), vandalism of cars, weird random people are always wandering the complex at odd hours...etc.

This apartment complex made for students is not ideal for a college budget. 775$ a month gives you 1 bedroom, a mini fridge to share, out-dated appliances, no parking, and the worst management. I guess they forgot students were broke.
