October 13, 2024I recently transferred into a different unit at Andover Apartments and, unfortunately, my experience has been overwhelming. While the location is convenient, maintenance is friendly and prompt with my request, and the layout of the apartment is decent, there are several issues that have made living here less than ideal. I’m facing issues with the property manager not providing me with enough time to pay my rent. I recently transferred to a new unit and prior to moving I paid my rent for the ...month. After a few days of being in my apartment I was told that my rent payment went towards carpet repairs in my former apartment and that my rent for my current unit is now past due. I wasn’t informed about this decision in advance, and it feels unfair to have my rent allocated for repairs without being given a heads up and extra time to pay for rent. This lack of transparency is concerning. I'm not upset at being charged for carpet repairs, however I am upset that I wasn't given enough time to pay what I needed to pay. This has caused unnecessary stress and financial strain because of how abrupt the situation is, and I’m concerned about the impact this could have on my lease and living situation.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
