Unsafe Building
May 10, 2025Although the building and units are beautiful, there are consistent safety concerns that occur at this building. It wasn't until a tragic event occurred at this building that the management began taking repairs and security seriously. But previously front doors would be broken for weeks, transients would be found in the building, and security wasn't to be found.Review from Apartments.com
Bait and switch!
October 12, 2022We signed up for a big apartment at the Ashton Sherman Village with lots of natural light but suddenly they switched the apartments on us, assured us they were the same, and rushed us to sign. Good thing we went and checked, the new apt was not good! So we're back to apartment hunting.Review from Apartments.com
Don't Do It! It's not what you think.
October 25, 2021Don't do it!! As you can see from most of the recent reviews, this place looks good at first but as soon as you move in you will realize you've made a terrible mistake. I honestly cant think of any positives to this place besides the inside of the apartments look pretty nice and new. 1) If you don't live on the top floor then you are going to hear EVERYTHING from the people above you. The people above us had little kids with scooter that would roll around all day long every weekend. I've lived ...in 5 or 6 different complexes over the last ten years and I've never heard the upstairs neighbors this loud. 2) Dog pee EVERYWHERE. They keep putting out signs all over the place asking people to stop letting dogs pee wherever they want but it hasnt helped. Be careful walking around in the halways and especially in the stairwell. Our last day there I stepped in a huge puddle of dog pee in one of the stairwells. 3) They have a terrible patio drainage system that will sometimes have constant flow of water draining down into your patio. We could never keep our patio furniture or just the patio itself clean because of this weird system. They worked on it a couple times but it seemed like it was weekly when we would see someone else's patio being drenched by their upstairs neighbors drainage. LAST BUT NOT LEAST We were looking to buy a place so when we started shopping my girlfriend called the office and the person she spoke to DID NOT tell her that she would have to pay back her entire "discount" she received on her monthly rent if we left her lease early. So on top of an extra months rent she had to pay back all of her discount she had received for the 9 months she had lived there. THEN when we received the bill for moving out they charged her $310 for painting and supplies, along with $150 for apartment cleaning and $85 for carpet cleaning. We left the place in great condition with minor holes so expect them to gouge you for $550 no matter what. THIS PLACE IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS AND TRUST US WHEN WE TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN FIND SO MANY OTHER BETTER PLACES.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Wonderful Living Area!
December 22, 2015I was a resident for 4 months as a travel nurse and I loved living here! Great location quiet safe area. Best tacos across the way at Hugo's Tacos!! Large apartment with great amenities. The closet is nice and I loved the mirrors on them. The trash is bore for the lazy residents who don't dispose properly. And my only complaint was my upstairs neighbor's heavy walking that resonated on the hard wood floors. some days I could cry it was so irritating. And no rodents or roaches! IMT Sherman Village
July 30, 2015The building is brand new. My boyfriend and I are the first to live in our apartment. If it wasn't for the electronic 'kiosk' used to pay rent that drives me crazy every time I try to use it and my dirty neighbors I would give this place five stars. The building has long hallways and I guess a couple of my neighbors are too lazy and leave their trash right out in the hallway. Oh! and the elevators take for ever. If you live in the second or even third floor just use the stairs. They will tell ...you its a Non-smoking apartment community but I've seen lots of people smoking around the pool. It doesn't really bother me but maybe its something you would want to know. Nice pool area and awesome gym! It has "Fitness on Demand". Walk in closets and in-home washer and dryer. Separate community trash chutes for recyclables Perfect place for pets! They have a dog park and dog grooming center. Overall this is a very nice place to live in!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

July 20, 2015This apartment building is in a wonderful location, with affordable rent, and in a quiet building with all the amenities. Pets are welcome, washer and drier big enough for bedding, near freeways, shops, restaurants. Because it's an energy efficient building, the elevator is slower, and water pressure is not optimal.Review from Apartments.com
