While the building is in a good location, everything else about living here is very underwhelming. The units are extremely overpriced for how small they are and most of them are very dark because the layout of the building blocks any natural sunlight from hitting the windows. There are also constantly homeless people right outside the building that harass you when you when you try to walk in or out.

up fake damages so they don’t have to return your deposit. I expect that from sleazy landlords but was surprised a big company like Avalon was just as bad, scamming me out of my deposit when I cleaned the unit and left it in IDENTICAL condition as it was when I moved in a year prior.
Please do yourself a favor and find another building, there are plenty of places much nicer, for a better price and better service in Santa Monica
